Patrick Willis retires as San Francisco 49er. Wow. With Frank Gore off to the Philadelphia Eagles and Jim Harbaugh at Michigan and now Pat Willis calling it quits, the 49ers would appear to be in trouble. Pay was the heart and soul of the 49ers Defense. He was one of the greatest players in team history and in NFL history. A seven time pro bowler. Stay tuned.
