Mark Zuckerberg's Facebook Dislike Button Will Cause Female Suicides Mark Zuckerberg, Facebook CEO, has announced that his staff is working on a "dislike" button. This is a terrible idea because it will cause more female suicides. Suicides among women have increased over that for men since the advent of social media. There are reports after reports of women and girls who have tried to end their lives and have because of social media interaction. That has been in the form of cyber bullying but now a Facebook dislike button will just provide another tool for emotional harm. I say don't do it. Or leave a provision where a user can turn it off. There has been enough emotional damage done to women and girls. Time to stop it.
